Essay on Feminism
Feminist thinkings primarily started in the United States few years after in the the rise of the US women's movement in the 1960s. Where there is a political factor of the rise of the feminist movement there are many ather aspects also that contributed for the start of this movement. The feminist movement started when the American Civil Right Movement commenced in 1950s .But the range of papers reflected the fact that the term 'feminism' has historically been securely tied to white and largely middle-class movements. The term “feminism” has many diverse uses and its meanings are often racial. As per example, certain writers take the term ‘feminism’ as a political historic pressure group in United States and Europe. While other writers use this phrase to submit to the belief that there are prejudice and inequalities against the women. Although this term was not used in this context in previous times as in the mid 1800s the term was used to refer to “the qualities of women”.
Although the phrase ‘feminism’, in English, is deep-seated in the activation for female suffrage in Europe and the Unites States during the later part of the 19th and early 20th century. But the efforts to obtain justice just began with this era or activism. The whites of the societies of Europe, Unites states and even Australia, as the history reveals have influenced the feminist mission, more. They were supposed to have double standards of ‘colonized and colonizing’. The white women usually defined their selves as the representatives of the feminist movement and contested the subjugation of the Britain along with the local pessimistic minds of the olds in those times. The movement was to stand against the racial and gender differences. The white women where in a great number and they where indigenously fighting against the “white slavery” and the concept that women are oppressed...........
