Our company will promote SkeeterDun through sales promotions. The tools that we aim to use in this promotion are samples, coupons, POP or the Point of Purchase displays, sponsorship and public relations (Oglivy and Raphealson, 14). By means of sample promotions, we would offer our product in form of free samples. For this purpose, we would employ door-to-door service or else attach our sample with some other known product in the area. Moreover, we also aim to promote our product by featuring it in some advertising offer. However, this is a very expensive method to promote the product, but is very effective and result oriented too. By means of this promotion we aim to create awareness among the general public and the target market of the presence of the product in addition to what good the product can bring, with respect to its functions and performance, to the target market. Apart from distribution of the samples through door to door service and attachment with another know product in the market, the samples can also be distributed in local grocery stores. For this purpose, our company will contact local grocery stores so that their sales personnel may provide help in making the product available to the buyers during their visit to the store and encouraging the use of the products.
