In his book "Savage Inequalities," Jonathan Kozol discloses discrimination in public education in the United States by visiting public schools and children that are in poor communities in East St. Louis, Illinois, North Lawndale and the South Side of Chicago, New York, Camden New Jersey, Washington D.C., and San Antonio. As his journey continues, cruel truths of educational discrimination are discovered.
