Did you overstep your boundaries by making recommendations that might imply that she has not been doing a good job?
Giving a suggestion is similar to providing feedback to your boss. This is because the management always wants to increase the productivity level of the employees, and this could be done by motivating them, and the working conditions being improved. If recommendations are passed on to bosses regarding such matters, it then helps the seniors to implement strategies, consequently improving employee productivity. Therefore it does not mean that we are getting critical about the boss’s work performance by making recommendations............
