Essay on Theory of Constraints
As describe by Eliyahu M. Goldratt in his book ‘The Goal’ the traditional cost accounting is a broad conception. Presently, as a procession has simply one weakest linkage at a time, every organization has at most, a few constraints at any specified time. As a weak linkage is built up, or a constraint effectively pact with, some other link becomes the weakest.
Setting up cost accounting is somewhat basic process in an organization that has recognized an inclusive process of ongoing improvement. On the other hand, the thinking procedure and culture for continuing progress should be established first. Cost accounting simply makes logic if a complete organization clinches the throughput world thinking processes.
It seems that cost accounting in itself can obstruct, but cannot build, a procedure of continuing improvement. Such a procedure should come from an interactive practice of recognizing the divisions on which to center; generating prevailing solution; efficiently employing the solutions, and guarding beside the propensity to behave as though a prevailing solution were an ultimate solution.
Goldratt gives an understandable thinking process that is pertinent to all parts of our lives. Independence and an apparent head show that "cost accounting" is short pictured.
