Most recently, Amazon.com has established itself as a dominant player in the online retail book business and has received an enthusiastic response throughout the business world. Despite the recent success of Amazon.com, it is important for Barnes & Noble to remain focused on the larger picture and view the Internet as one of many channels available to book retailers.
