roctor and Gamble Company is a multinational giant with operations extending into 140 countries with many brands that are household names around the world. The company employs about 100,000 people who work in almost 80 countries around the world and is active in the areas of fabric and home care, beauty care, baby and family care, health care as well as snacks and beverages. Some well known brands names associated with the Procter and Gamble Company include Pampers, Tide, Ariel, Always, Pantene, Bounty, Folgers, Pringles, Charmin, Downy, Iams, Crest, Actonel and Olay.

The company is one of the world’s ten most admired companies according to Fortune magazine and is considered to be amongst the best corporate citizens according to the Business Ethics magazine.
