Let focus on the health care unit. The most significant issue affecting the future of health care delivery currently facing the rural area is drug abuse and drug trafficking. The illegal drug market is one of the most profitable in the world. As such, it attracts the most ruthless, sophisticated, and aggressive drug traffickers. According to a recent article published BBC News that “Methamphetamine has overtaken cocaine as the biggest drug problem in rural and small towns in the US, according to a crime survey of 45 states.” The increasing drug problem leads burglaries, domestic violence and assaults.
Taking this overview in consideration it is essential that the Government should adopt some serious plans for the drug abusers to stop the drug trafficking from the Columbia because today, traffickers operating from Colombia..............
