Many political scientists and many expert economists are all of the opinion that central bank’s independence does lowers inflation. Moreover, these two groups of scholars also define central bank independence as a scale of autonomy the traditionalist central bank has over the political authorities and government when designing monetary policies.

Political scientists view the central banks as some bureaucratic establishment, which is occupied by financial experts who are very often sensitive about the issue of inflation.
