College is more than just one big party: there are classes, studying, social events, and of course a job. Some students hold off working until their second semester so they can establish a good G.P.A., but those students who have work-study most have a job to keep the money they have received or risk losing it. One good thing about working is that you get paid and don’t have to beg your parents so often to send you cash, put it in your quick cash account or your savings. Even though you may not have time to hang out with the people on your floor, you’ll be able to meet people at your job that may be your friends longer than the friends you've made since you got on the campus. The experience that you encounter while you’re on the job today could be used in the future when you have to make a decision in one of your future careers.
Another little pro to add to the pill is that the job that you’ve applied to could be your career in the future, and this a step closer to your dream of a life of financial stability.
Having a job may have a lot of pros and benefits but there are still drawbacks to the concept of having a job. Sure you get paid but there are more things in life than money, there’s a little factor that us as college students never get adequate amounts of which is sleep.....................
