Essay on Statistics
The dependent variable is the actual test scores from the statistics on students in the paper. The MM design considers both a within-subjects design as well as a between-subjects design. The within-subjects design involves a within-subjects factor or independent variable that considers repeated measures with 2 or more levels while the between-subjects design, which involves a between-subjects factor or independent variable, includes independent groups. The within-subjects design is not completely randomized because subjects serve in all levels of the independent variable.
For an A x B design, factor A (tests) were specified as the repeated measures independent variable and factor B (class) as the second independent variable consisting of independent groups. There are 3 levels of factor A in the within-subjects design where subjects take all three tests (i.e., each subject serves in all levels) and there are 2 levels of factor B in the between-subjects design where subjects either belong to the morning or afternoon class............
