World War II started in 1939 as a conflict between Germany and the combined forces of France and Great Britain, and finally incorporated the majority of the nations of the world before it ended in August 1945. It caused the maximum loss of life and material damage and destruction of any war in the past, around 25 million military workforce and 30 million civilians were killed. Finally in the end of the war, the United States of America had developed into the most powerful state in the world, the first owner of atomic weapons.
