Essay on Comparison between Christianity and Judaism
There are many extensive and crucial distinctions between Judaism and Christianity. Of course in attendance are countless similarities, primarily since Christianity emerged from Judaism. However, the materialization was not a direct line. Christianity insolvent from Judaism, forming a new religion, so it is misleading, however comfy the thought might be, to consider that the two religions are essentially the same, or to see Christianity as the usual continuation of Judaism.
Judaism's innermost belief is that the people of all religions are “offspring” of God, and therefore equivalent before God. All people have God's love, mercy, and aid. In particular, Judaism does not require that a person convert to Judaism in order to accomplish salvation. The only inevitability for that, as understood by Jewish people, is designate ethical. While Judaism accepts the significance of all people regardless of religion, it also allows populous who are not Jewish but who voluntarily desire to join the Jewish people to perform so”. As Judaism understands this idea, God cannot be made up of parts, even if those parts are mysteriously united. The Christian observation of “Trinitarians” is that “God is made up of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit”. Such an inspection, even if called “monotheistic” because the three parts are, by “divine” mystery, “only one God”, is incompatible with the Jewish view that such a division is not possible. The Jewish innovative idea is that God is one. This idea allows for God's unity and “individuality” as a creative force.
