Culture plays a significant role while a marriage is taking place. The manner in which the matrimonial ceremony will be performed is in accordance with the religious background of the bride and the groom. So the cultural dimension would definitely reflect in the marriage taking place. American marriages greatly differ from Indian marriages. This is mainly because the Indian rituals performed during their marriage ceremony speak of the true Indian culture. Where as American marriages are not greatly influenced by these external factors such as that of performance of a number of rituals.
