The contributions of women towards the society are highly appreciable. There are countless qualities of a woman. Like raising children, maintaining household activities etc. The foremost quality of a good woman is her durability and cooperating power. Cooperation of a woman with husband is very important for the betterment of the family and for the future of the children. Workingwomen are now considered as the resource provider in the society. In the past decades there is a dramatic increase in the number of women participating in the labor force. Majority of the women are admitted in the work force in order to support their family.
Since the ancient civilization of man women have played a secondary role in the society. Women were and still are viewed less than men. This is because women in the past and today didn’t get the maximum possible resources for enhancing their knowledge and abilities. The issues, which are still around the women and the workplace, are many. “Advancing Women is based on the premise that women face different challenges than men in the workplace.” (Advancing Women).
Women were regretted in the past when competing with men. Educational opportunities were not given to women. And as a result women were at a disadvantage than men in the workplace. Women were hired for small kinds of jobs in the organization like type writing etc. They were paid less than the men for doing the same job. As a whole the status of women was crushed in the past. But now in this era of competition.......
