Marriage, this word has different meanings for different people. To some marriage means a commitment between two people in holy matrimony, or Religious marriage. To others it is just a legal contract between two people, or civil marriage. Actually, there is only one definition for a marriage. A marriage is a state of living together as husband and wife joined in wedlock, where husband is a man and wife is a woman.

One central theme in a happy marriage is that each spouse finds the other to be a unique and irreplaceable "fit”. Marriage is a structure built over time to meet the needs of two individuals for nourishment, handling conflict and growing through life. Realism is an important part of the picture as well as an ability to reflect on our own weaknesses and strengths (Alba, 1986). Mutual respect, humor and a willingness to not get lost in blaming when conflict or crisis arise also prove to be some of the critical ingredients in marital happiness.

Disagreements and arguments crop up in even the best marriages. It's how conflict is handled that is an important key to marital success or breakdown. Current research confirms that poorly handled disagreement between married couples can negatively influence mental, physical, and family health. Feelings of anger, resentment, and unhappiness - sometimes leading to division and divorce often result. But couples need not settle for these experiences (Broude, 1994). Good marriages seem rare these days, but a leading marriage expert says it's not complex or even of necessity difficult to make a marriage last. Friendship is at the core of a strong marriage.

Everything from simple mistakes to serious problems of illness and matter abuse is caused due to misunderstandings between the couples (Broude, 1994). In other words we can also say that their lie a significant changes in their thinking.....
