Essay on Culture, Communication and Human Behavior
The word culture means to dwell in, to grow, or to respect; it usually refers to patterns of human movement and the representative structures that give such movement implication. Unlike explanation of "culture" imitate distinct theoretical orientations for perceptive, or criteria for valuing, human activity. Anthropologists most normally use the word "culture" to refer to the widespread human capacity to categorize codify and commune their experiences emblematically. Communication is the procedure of sharing thoughts, information, and messages with others in a particular time and place. Communication includes script and discussion, in addition to nonverbal communication (such as facial expressions, body language, or gestures), visual communication (the use of images or pictures, for example painting, taking pictures, video, or film), and electronic communication (telephone calls, electronic mail, cable television, or satellite broadcasts). On the other hand, human behavior takes place in a communal and cultural milieu that varies broadly from place to place. This deviation occurs along definite dimensions that are signified by social science jargon that we use in cross-cultural psychology. Changes in our judgment and emotions sooner or later guide to behaviors that can either be flourishing or ineffective at the same time as living in another culture.
A reliable creation of ineffective behaviors is usually an indication of culture distress. Symptoms of culture-shock consist of negative stereotyping, extreme criticism of host country people and their ways, rage and hatred, despair, petulance and removal.
