Essay on Divorce & Ethics
Marriages, as said and accepted by many people are made in heaven and are considered as one of the most beautiful institution of life. But it does not take long when this beautiful institution turns into the worst nightmare and affect the lives of thousands of married people. Every marriage goes through many different phases, as it would be entirely unrealistic to think that in this long journey of life there would be no twist and turns and ups and downs.
People get married so that they have somebody with whom they can share each and every moment of their life. But there are many couples that are unable to maintain their relationship as they suffer physical and mental abuse at the hands of their spouses. Unfaithfulness, sexual abuse, extra marital relationships, betrayal and lack of communication and time are some of the most common reasons why a marriage might end up in divorce.
Divorce is a feeling of recognition according to which the marriage has awfully failed and due to which either one of the partner or both of them are not interested in continuing it. Divorce is a legal way of dissolving a marriage that allows the partners to remarry if they wish to. We see a substantial increase in the divorce rate every year. According to research about 50% of all marriages end up in divorce each year and about 2 million children are forced to accept the bitter reality of their parents separation.
Some demographers predict that a large number of youngsters would be spending their childhood with single parents separated by divorce by the beginning of the next decade. There are many causes of divorce, but the root causes are: lack of communication, compromise and commitment, which is a combination of three Cs. These are the main factors that must be present in order to prevent a marriage from leading into the path known as divorce......
