Mankind, since time immemorial, has designed and created an overabundance of gods. Some of these have survived the political and social turmoil and are worshipped by people of today, while others were created in the recent times. Some of these gods are of ancient origins, while others are fairly recent. Most of the gods worshipped today are off shoots of a basic or core group of gods and deities. Many experts state that the primary god of the ancient Hebrews, Yahweh, has later branched out into the relative Gods of Christian, Islamic, and Judaic; and also in the many sectarian religions of these religions.

The religion of ancient Hebrew, is stated by many, to have been evolved from, completely or partially, the ancient African tribal concepts and beliefs. Many scholars trace the religious circumcision ritual to this African tribe. The development of the god Yahweh was greatly inclined towards the religious beliefs of Hinduism, like other eastern religions. Primarily, early form of Animism is usually attributed as the first form of belief that resembles to the concept of monotheism. This shows that people believed that there was a single god in various forms. These beliefs were soon replaced by more advance and refined concepts. Then later in the sixth century BCE Zoroastrianism reintroduced this concept of monotheism, which later gained popularity.

This led much religion to alter their beliefs and adopt one God. This points out to the evidence that as to why many religious followers of "God of Abraham" fail to differentiate the Hebrew principle of "one significant God", with the belief of "only one God". Many of these books such as the Old Testament were written in the period of Polytheistic time of Judaism. People of this period believed that there are many deities, however, there is only one God whose commandments are to be obeyed.......
