Japanese matrimonial systems had gone through numerous transformations together with changes in Japanese communal systems and environment. Likewise among the ordinary people, a man would visit the parents of the woman and proposed her parents for their daughter for marriage. Profession and work service played a necessary part in life of the general people. Profession and work service differ from places.
