Essay on Role of Sensing, Processing and Responding in Everyday Survival
Every person in this world requires sending, processing and responding to survive. Without proper sensing: it will be difficult for us to choose between right and wrong. Good sensing requires good processing. After sensing something one has to process the information to get to the final decision or answer. After processing is done, one will respond on the basis and results of processing done in his/her mind. We use sensing, processing and responding almost for every decision of work we do.
Good sensing and processing is very crucial for everyday survival. Bad sensing can lead to wrong processing with in-turn with will lead to wrong or inappropriate response.Sensory information from the external environment (visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory,) and the internal environment enters the central nervous system at the level of the brain stem and midbrain. As this primary sensory input comes into the brain stem and midbrain, it is matched against previously stored patterns of activation and if unknown, or if associated with previous threat, an initial alarm response begins.....
