Essay on Affects TV has on Children
TV can get in the way of exploring, learning, and spending time interacting and playing with parents and others, which helps young children develop the skills they need to grow cognitively, physically, socially, and emotionally. In today’s world where both father and mother have to work, television plays an even more crucial part because it has to baby-sit children for longer hours, while the parents are away – and while the house help does other chores. Of course, it is also important that a child’s TV viewing is monitored. If both parents have to work, either father or mother (or preferably both) should make a list of TV shows the kids can watch – with the guardian seeing to it that it is followed and implemented.
When children are young, they tend to act different than when they are older. They are not mature yet and are still easily influenced. Little kids are usually very easily influenced by their surroundings. Whether it is television, friends, family members, or just plain strangers, everyone and everything are influences on a little kid. I believe that young boys are usually more easily influenced than young girls.First, one influence that has a major effect on children's behavior is television. Believe it or not, T.V. plays a big role in how kids act.
Television is hugely important in people's lives. They feel it to be especially influential on young people, not least because it is a major source of information for them, and especially important for older people, acting as both a companion and a bridge to the outside world.
