I found the access to the site quite easy, as the web link of this site bears its name, and even if someone isn't aware of the URL, this link is easily searchable on the popular Internet search engines.
Design of the site is quite sober and apt to the federal government website. When the homepage opens, it bears the emblem of the White House on the top-left corner of the site and also bears the name of the current President in the office, George W. Bush. In the watermark background at the top, it has the national flag splashed all over. One thing distinctly felt missing is the picture of White House in the home page, though it is available in the preceding sections of the website. Overall the design and appearance of the website is quite ok.
The site contains quite a lot of information about the White House and the federal government. First most important link in the website is about the President. The page bears the President attending a meeting in the Oval Office. The subsequent links provided in the page are about the history of Oval Office, biography of the current President, the President's Hall, Military Office and the Cabinet of the President. One special feature if the video tour of the Oval office in which the President takes you on the tour himself.
