With all Chinese texts such as this because there is no long explanations the reader is compelled to contemplate and look at the passages as one would over a work of art taking in its meaning. Each passage can be taken individually but more can be gained by focusing on the complete work. Also being a high context culture the reader is supposed to know and understand the meanings and concepts of the text.
