Essay on Child Abuse With The Rocking-Horse Winner

Lawrence, David Herbert was an English novelist and poet, ranked among the most influential and controversial literary figures of the 20th century. In his more than 40 books he celebrated his vision of the natural, whole human being, opposing the artificiality of modern industrial society with its dehumanization of life and love. His novels were misunderstood, however, and attacked and even suppressed because of their frank treatment of sexual matters.

Lawrence thought of himself as a sexual liberator, and for a number of generations he was known as such; but he was a creature of his time in proclaiming the unsafe consequences of masturbation. In the early psychoanalytic movement were also opposed to masturbation, although their views were not monolithic and were stated in scientific rather than moralistic terms. Lawrence saw masturbation as a personal and cultural vice that functionally vulnerable the development of dynamic, relational sexuality, and that led to self-absorbed, mental analysis.

Child abuse is any exploitation or disregards of a child that fallout in non-accidental harm or injury and which cannot be reasonably explained. Child abuse includes physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect. Resistance is a universal reality among humans. We are all resistant to some things, at some times. For some people it is actually the predominant theme in their life. Whether it is a major or minor factor for a given individual, understanding and releasing resistance can create ease and efficiency where struggle and impediment exist. It can be difficult to recognize abuse and even more difficult to determine what to do about it. Children are often reluctant to tell anybody if they are being abused because they think they will be blamed or not believed. Parents tend to overlook symptoms because it is uncomfortable to talk about.
