I. Introduction
The paper will be presenting some of the basic review of the movie "The Passion Of The Christ"; the entire discussion will be based on the plot summary of the film the passion of the Christ, which was released in the year 2004 by Mel Gibson. The direction by Mel Gibson is simply marvelous and it has given life to the plot of the film. This paper will be discussing some of the most important facts and questions related to the movie. This film is basically an adaptation of the traditional passion play of Christians. Mel Gibson himself along with Benedict Fitzgerald wrote the film.
II. Analysis Of The Plot Summary
The summary of the film's plot in one sentence only would be that it is a film about the last twelve hours of the life of Jesus Christ. These twelve hours begin with the arrest of Jesus in the garden Gethsemane the film then shows the betrayal of Judas Iscariot. All in all the film shows the hurdles as well as the difficulties, which the Jesus Christ faced during these last twelve hours of his life.
Although the director faced a lot of objections and difficulties from the side of critics but still the movie managed to attract the attention of the audiences. The film was made for the targeted audiences who have complete faith in the teachings of the Christianity. The target audience are those people who are willing to discover certain truths about the life of Jesus and how did he managed the hurdles, which came in his way.
Some of the people in the audiences will find this movie horrible, but the aim of the director was to show the targeted audience that the Christ suffered for the sins that were committed by his people....
