Introduction
The dramatic escalation of violence committed by and against people is shocking (Eron et al., 1994). Although according to Federal Bureau of Investigation, the murder rate in the year 1998 dropped almost 8 percent in comparison of the murder rate of 1997. Similarly crime rate of crimes like rape and assault had been decreased up to 5 percent each and crime rates of robbery and burglary fell by 11 percent and 7 percent respectively (Federal Bureau of Investigation, 1998) but still the violence among the youth has increased sharply.
Violence has always been a problem of youth, it happens because they posses aggression, which leads toward the violence or in the other words it can be said that because minor cannot control their aggression that’s why they their aggression turn out to be violent. This phenomenon is also named as Juvenile delinquency (Siegel, Welsh & Senna, 2005).
There is no simple explanation for the presence of Juvenile delinquency, nor is there any obvious, easy way to reduce it. The fundamental basis of violence is absolutely clear: the human capacity for aggression
Adolescent violent behavior and School violence is a common issue of present time. It has been estimated that approximately 16 percent of the high school students per year have been engaged in physical fight or violence. The rate of victimization is highest among the students ages between 12 to 19 years. Surveys revealed that according to teachers 3 percent students always carrying weapons in school. According to the students, the percentage of weapon carrying students is 13 percent while according to law enforcement agencies this percentage is 8 percent. This percentage is going higher up to 20 percent in some urban high schools and up to 50 percent in lower-tier New York schools. Average number of guns in school per day range from 100,000 to 270,000.........................
