Introduction: These days, anabolic steroids are extensively used and mistreated by young athletes in search of bigger muscles. This drug mistreatment involves boys not yet in their teens; high school, college and professional athletes; and body builders of both sexes. Steroids were initially produced in the 1930s to build body tissue and stop the breakdown of tissue that occurs in some incapacitating diseases. But an FDA assessment of these drugs years later failed to discover proof that they were useful for those reasons. They comprise of liver cancer, cardiovascular troubles, sterility, testicular atrophy, jaundice, and masculinization of female fetuses in pregnant women taking steroids. Steroids don't combine with some other drugs, a truth that can add to the list of unnecessary consequences. The entire side effect picture is unidentified, for it remains to be seen what problems will develop for today's iron pumpers who take steriods in huge quantities and for exceptionally long time.
