Definition
By definition, Abortion is the deliberate termination of pregnancy in a female. It is the obliteration of the fetus or unborn child whilst the baby is yet in the mother’s womb. Abortions can be performed by about any person from the mother herself to ghetto abortion centers and clinics located particularly for this intention.
The Controversy
Abortion is an exceptionally contentious topic that has been recurrently debated over for the bygone few years and almost certainly will be argued over for many years to come. The major argument is should it be legally recognized? There are two sides to this abortion subject; the PRO-LIFE, which is those who are anti-abortion on the whole, and the PRO-CHOICE or those who deem that women have a right to choose between abortion and procreation. The pro-life answer is to bear the child and in the end live with it. They think abortion is not the way out.
Ethical Issues of having an Abortion
The four main objections to abortion are that it (a) ravages fetuses' right to existence; (b) disregards and/or promotes women's reckless indulgence in sexual affairs; (c) discounts the rights of fathers and important others; and (d) disposes of the alternative that equipment be acquired for uninvited fetuses to develop outside the mother's womb so abortion need not be sought after and unwanted babies could be adopted. Fetuses' right to existence
Abortion is just as much killing as it is to walk into a crowded restaurant and open fire on the people inside, or blow up a bomb. Most likely, such people would be hauled off to prison and sentenced to death for murder. If such murder is illegal then how can women resort to abortion like an everyday, normal activity? Abortion and murder, both involve taking the life of an alive and breathing human being...........
