Abstract
This paper discusses the medicinal uses of Marijuana, which is produced from parts of the cannabis plant and is smoked with the help of a joint, pipe, bong, cigarette etc. Till 1937 it was easily available in America but under the 1937 act of Marijuana its usage is banned for medical purposes also.
The paper starts with a small background and history of the Marijuana. It then moves on to its detailed description followed by its medical uses and advantages to show that it is helpful for treating various serious ailments like AIDS, Glaucoma, Cancer etc.
Marijuana is a drug that have very serious side effects like short memory, loss of focus, problem in retaining information, muscle contractions etc. To keep users aware of these problems the paper bring forward different medical and social impacts it has on our lives and also explains the worse consequences of each of them along with certain facts of this drug.
The conclusion argues the harmful influence it has on the lives of the children and how they should be kept away from it. Although the disadvantages and limitations of this drug can’t be overcome and neither they can be ignored but it’s medicinal advantages still cater to the needs of a lot of consumers.
