In many countries today, the issue of abortion and the right to choose to have an abortion has come under discussion many a times. The sensitivity of the topic is such that people argue about it and give reasons for and against it, but to cut the whole argument short, in a free country like ours where everyone has a right to choose and do things as they want, isn’t abortion also a question of choosing and doing exactly what one wants to do with something that is actually theirs?
Abortion, no doubt, is a personal choice, no one can make it for some one else and no one should have a right to interfere with some body else’s problem and their personal issues. Every woman certainly has the right to terminate an unwanted pregnancy by choosing to have an abortion, no one else but the parents can choose in this regard as no amount of justification some other source gives, would work their life. It is their life and undoubtedly their own decision to make. Pro-choice abortion is all about the right to choose to have or not to have a baby. It is all about the human right of choosing.
Abortion is an issue of individual independence; an issue of making a choice that we feel is not harmful to us. This choice gives a woman in complete control over the choice of when to have a child and also to decide the number to children she would want to have. This practice, rather proves to be of a great benefit, actually allows for babies who are planned and wanted, and consequently, are more likely to turn out better because they are their there by parents’ choice and not a forceful burden on them........
