The article that I have chosen is about “Concepts of Leadership”. It starts with a very catchy statement which says “Good leaders are made not born.” (Clark, 2005, Para. 2). On the one hand, It discusses numerous things which are part and parcel of an excellent leader and on the other hand, gives an idea about various Leadership Models like along with “The Process of Great Leadership.”
The thing that I like most about this article is that it has discussed each & every topic in proper order and reader will definitely enjoy reading it while at the same time he/she will feel some increment in his/her knowledge. Just look at the wording used by the Author “Leadership is a process by which a person influences others to accomplish an objective and directs the organization in a way that makes it more cohesive and coherent.” (Clark, 2005, Para. 2). This definition very a comprehensive one in every aspect. According to the Author this process is carried out by applying their leadership attributes, such as beliefs, values, ethics, character, knowledge, and skills.
