Trafficking of humans is such illegal act that includes moving of men, women and children from one place to other without completing legal formalities. The trafficking is done primarily for the purpose of forced labor including forced sex, domestic work, agriculture labor work, shops labor, and construction etcetera. It is the complete violation of the human right in the world. The most heinous part of this illicit and clandestine movement is that the children and innocent women are forced to involve in the prostitution and the sex.
The trafficking of men and boys is common in the world but since last few decades the trafficking of women and young girls is on the rise. The majority of the trafficking in the world both trans boarder and the in country is done for the purpose of commercial sex. The people who are involved in the trafficking are carrying the women who are HIV infected. These women and children tend to be infected because of poverty, shifting from one place to other, abuse to the women and children.
Trafficked people generally experience a large amount of physical and psychological health problems. Women are specifically vulnerable to reproductive and other gender-specific health problems in trafficking situations as they have little or no access to reproductive health care. These problems include lack of access to birth control, constant rapes, forced abortions and contraceptive use, lack of regular mammograms and Pap smears, and other health issues. Because the women in domestic servitude are subject to rape, physical abuse and forced prostitution they suffer increased risk of sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS. The women and girls are more likely to get infected than males (Report on the Global HIV/AIDS Epidemic, UNAIDS, June 2000).
