Introduction:
Robert Marzano is generally known as a proficient in both decisive thinking and course plan. He is representative director of training and development at the Mid-continent Regional Educational Laboratory in Aurora, Colorado. He has taught at both the university and high school levels, and has written numerous articles, books, and training materials in the areas of language arts, effective schooling, and thinking skills.
Although we already are on familiar terms with the best way to recover instruction, we persist in pursuing strategies that have constantly botched. How do we choose which instructional practices to focus on in obtaining higher student achievement? We by now know that our lessons need to be aligned to those learnings for which students will be held accountable. Are there any instructional practices we should incorporate into teaching that are going to be more commanding than others?
Millions of dollars are used up yearly on classroom technology, however having technology presented in classrooms is just half the fight. The classroom strategies outlined here provide supervision and tools for helping students add to their ability for learning in a planned and focused way. The ways have been recommended to put together technology in the execution of those research-based classroom strategies and ways to apply the strategies constantly. Lesson planning should focus first on content and classroom strategies, then on ways in which technologies can augment the lesson. Building lessons on a concrete, research-based institution of effectual strategies, adding proper technologies, and constantly applying those strategies should help ensure high-quality instruction that has the impending of maximizing student success.
