I. Introduction
The research oriented paper ill study the fact that how media and other influences affect behavior in juvenile, the following questions will be discussed thoroughly in the paper:
-Is the juvenile behavior taught, genetic, or practiced?
-Does media plays a big role in violence today?
-Is there a large connection between violence in television programming and a youth’s tendency for juvenile delinquency?
In order to know about the risk and causes of juvenile delinquency, it is essential to understand the definition of juvenile delinquency according to which it can be understood that the “Criminal acts of young persons are referred to broadly as juvenile delinquency” (Juvenile Delinquency). Although childhood is an age, which never comes back in the life of a person, and this period, is a time where the child is dependent on others. It is the responsibility of the adults to nurture a child during this period of innocence.
Researches have however shown that some of the children are attracted to crimes in the their teenage and then they commit all those acts which are not in accordance with the norms of the society. There are many reasons behind the act of juvenile delinquency. Violence, which is shown on media, is considered to be the major factor, which is responsible for juvenile delinquency. Television is medium, which is responsible to provide quality entertainment to the people so that they can enjoy and watch television series of their interests. The growing trend of crime story making is increasing because the audiences are themselves interested in watching such shows, which are based on killings and mysteries.
