The September 11th attack had changed the entire scenario of the United States Airline Security system. Security levels became extremely strict, because of thorough checks being done on passengers. This was one of the primary steps taken to avoid any kinds of threats to the airline security system.
The horrific attacks on September 11th left irrecoverable losses on human lives. Economically the country was in a critical state and on the other hand the air line industry was also greatly damaged. To serve the purpose of security airports were closed and the flights were grounded for a short while. Another main transformation that took place was that the ‘Transportation Security Administration’ was given the contract for airline security, as per the order of the Congress. The private security firms were in charge for this before the attacks took place. Tighter Security procedures after these attacks have brought an economic slow-down. These checkpoints were fully under the control of the US Federal Government, and they ordered the concerned authorities at the airport to treat passengers in a friendly manner, while protecting their security.
